Interleaved 2 of 5 Bar Codes

I2of5Tools contains Interleaved 2 of 5 barcode fonts, an easy-to-use wizard, and an encoder that lets you create barcodes from within your report, spreadsheet or database application. I2of5Tools is the fastest, easiest way to print Interleaved 2 of 5 barcodes.
Interleaved 2 of 5 barcodes are widely used in distribution and shipping. Interleaved 2 of 5 bar codes (ITF barcodes) are used on corrugated boxes, cartons, and pallets. They're also used in laboratories and in the medical industry.
Interleaved 2 of 5 is a numeric-only barcode symbology. It encodes numbers only. It is very compact because each pair of numbers is represented by only one character. In effect Interleaved 2 of 5 barcodes employ a 2:1 compression ratio.
All Interleaved 2 of 5 barcodes encode even digit strings. If an input string is an odd number of digits long, our software adds a leading zero to it. For example "12345" is encoded as "012345".
Because both the bars and spaces encode data, Interleaved 2 of 5 barcodes are said to be self-checking. They don't include a mandatory check digit. An optional modulus 10 check digit can be used.
I2of5Tools is barcode software from Azalea Software that prints Interleaved 2 of 5 barcodes (ITF bar codes). I2of5Tools is available for Windows, the Macintosh, Linux, UNIX, and other platforms.
